Forget selling the seeds — maybe Tom DeLaney should think about taking them out into the yard, planting them, and then reaping the bountiful harvest. Because it looks as if he hasn’t seen a decent meal in a good long while — like he’s prepping for the role of Tiny Tim in a live-action A Christmas Carol adaptation. Maybe Oliver Twist. Something Dickens. Please, sir, I want some more.
Carrots and beets might do him more good than roller skates and typewriters. That’s all I’m saying.

Jeez…what kind of $&@#load of seeds do you hafta sell to win a bike!? How is that profitable? How can a kid compete with the big combines, especially here in Ag country. I remember this ad, and if they were advertising seeds that might grow into mutated plant monsters that might devour my older sisters, or wreak havoc on an uncaring world, well, sir, I might have sent in that coupon.
