When did Snap, Crackle and Pop get Class F licenses? It’s easy to picture them, say, cavorting in a dinghy. But driving a fire engine? Even a Meccano toy fire engine? Not so much. Then again, this ad was scanned from a British book, so maybe the UK versions had a different array of powers and proclivities.

And maybe the Keebler Elves mine coal when they’re not making sugary cookies. Why not?
