Yeah, I’m sure Mom would love to have a bunch of those stickers on the family car. And kids, don’t ask her before you put them there, either. Surprise her. That’ll be even better. Hell, slap Aquaman right on the hood.

Ha! That’s great, that they would suggest putting on a car right there in the ad. What’s next, an ad for “superhero capes” that shows a kid poised on top of the family garage, ready to leap off?
I remember being into stickers like any kid, and they often came with a tiny disclaimer that read, “Do not stick where Mom would not approve.” Just think how much trouble people would have avoided in life if they’d applied that credo more broadly. Would’ve pretty much destroyed the porn industry, though…
I know, right? The only thing worse would be an ad for marker that said “Hey! Go ahead and draw on the walls! Your folks’ll love the new decor!”
