I had no idea who George Barris was before I saw this ad. A brief internet search and a Wikipedia entry later and I’m edified. Creating TV’s Batmobile is at the top of his resume, but I’m not sure where Grandpa Munster’s DRAG-U-LA ranks amongst his career highlights. AMT’s Kat looks pleased with it, though. (All customized TV cars take a back seat to KAR 120C from The Prisoner.)

With groaner puns like the ones above, Al Lewis would have been a real hit in Albany.
