Seriously. I feel like Cyclops is burning a hole in my gut when I merely think about any Chef Boyardee product, much less an X-Men themed one. Did anyone out there ever eat them? Are they still making them (this ad is from the mid-90s)? I think I might have seen some Spider-Man SpaghettiOs over at my local Harris Teeter in recent months, but maybe that was only a fever dream.
And, if my eyes aren’t deceiving me , those are the unmistakable jawlines of Art Adams displayed on the label.

I definitely remember seeing these ads, though I never ate them…even as a kid, I was never a fan of Spaghetti-O’s or Chef Boyardee. I also remember seeing ads for a Spider-Man cereal in the mid-’90s, which I DID want to try, but I could never find it at the store! If memory serves, it looked kind of like Chex.
There certainly are a lot more cereal comic tie-ins out there. Not really comics related, but I can remember eating the Star Wars “Droids” cereal back in the early 80s and being crestfallen when it was discontinued. Even though it tasted like sugary garbage.
I had these a lot as a kid. There was nothing special about them, flavor-wise.
